Our policies regarding refunds and cancellations for donations.
Donations are generally non-refundable and non-cancellable once successfully processed. However, refund requests may be considered in the specific circumstances described below.
A refund may be considered where a donation was duplicated, the donor’s account was debited but the transaction failed or was not recorded by the Organization, the transaction was unauthorized, a technical/payment error occurred, or another circumstance is specifically approved by the Organization.
Refund requests should normally be submitted within 7 days of the transaction date. Requests received after this period may be reviewed depending on the circumstances and available transaction records.
Please provide the donor name, registered mobile number or email address, donation amount, transaction date, transaction/UTR/reference number, reason for the request, and supporting proof where available.

If a refund is approved, it will normally be processed to the original payment method or through another appropriate method. The time taken for the amount to appear in the donor’s account may depend on the payment gateway, bank, card network, or other financial institution.
If a donation receipt, certificate, or statutory donation reporting has already been issued or submitted, the Organization may need to correct or withdraw the relevant documentation as permitted by applicable law before or after processing a refund.
If you believe a transaction was unauthorized or fraudulent, please contact Gyan Foundation Sansthan promptly and also notify your bank or payment service provider. The Organization may request transaction details to investigate the matter.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version published on the website will apply to requests made after the stated effective date.
